ZUNA

Ghassan Ramlawi ( born 3 July 1993), known professionally as Zuna, is a German rapper of Lebanese descent. He was born in the Lebanese city Baalbek and has three siblings. In 2001, when he was seven years old, he immigrated to Germany with his single mother and siblings.

They lived in Munich and later moved to Switzerland where they deported back to Lebanon, when Zuna was 15 years old. In the same year, his family moved again to Germany.

Since then, they have lived in Dresden. Three years later, he and his family received asylum. Since 2010, he is part of the rap group KMN Gang.

He joined the newly founded KMN Gang in 2010. After his first joint productions, he was able to gain national attention for the first time with his track Fuck the Police in 2015. In the same year also appeared his debut album Planet Zuna.

His musical style is attributed to the street rap, but he also uses elements of afrobeat and dancehall. With the single KMN Zuna was in the German singles charts for the first time in December 2016 and followed in February Cazal, a collaboration with Miami Yacine, which even reached the top 20.

At the same time, other members of the KMN crew were represented with single tracks in the charts. Number 1 was a collaboration with Azet and Noizy, which was the first KMN production to reach the top 10 of the German single charts as well as a gold medal. On April 14, 2017, he released his album Mele7, bringing Zuna in the first week on # 2 on the German charts.
