KONTA CHILDRENS FOUNDATION
The foundation has been founded on this principle and is committed to seeking out and helping those who have been living without hope in destitute conditions. The origins of the Charity began early last year when the charity’s President Mr Almani Konta began discussions with aid groups in Africa who were dedicated to solving the economic and living conditions of some of the poor village populations in the most stricken regions of the Sudan and Uganda.
As a direct result of these talks, Mr Konta began the KONTA Children’s Foundation. We then began to sponsor the most deprived people living in remote villages in these regions. The operations have since spread to other deprived regions such as missions in Uganda where many families and ill children have been provided for. These improvements cover all areas of life, from the basic provision of shelter to food, paying for schooling fees, beds, mattresses, blankets, shoes, and health care.
KONTA CHILDRENS FOUNDATION
As a direct result of these talks, Mr Konta began the KONTA Children’s Foundation. We then began to sponsor the most deprived people living in remote villages in these regions.

The KONTA Children’s Foundation has been primarily established to provide basic and essential aid to the most poverty-stricken children who have been abandoned or are orphaned. In addition, we also provide financial assistance to struggling 1 parent families and impoverished individuals. Part of this assistance involves providing adequate housing units for those unable to live in their current shelters. We also help in funding the education of primary and secondary school children and assisting in providing the materials necessary for attending school. All the afflicted are considered based on need, regardless of age, gender, tribe, or religion.

We aim at also providing information on the necessity of safe water and sanitation to these communities. They are taught the link between disease and sanitation, and how the simple act of washing hands with soap and water can reduce diarrhoeal diseases by a third.
