David Anthony Burke, known professionally as d4vd (pronounced David), (born March 28, 2005) is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known for his songs “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me”, both of which experienced international chart success. Born David Anthony Burke in Queens, New York City, he would later move to Houston, Texas.

Burke’s career in music started when he made montage videos of the video game Fortnite and decided to make his own music in order to prevent himself from receiving copyright strikes.[10] Burke has been a long-standing member of the esports organization Team Limit.

In July 2022, he released the single “Romantic Homicide”. “Romantic Homicide” charted at No. 3 on the Hot Alternative Songs charts. Burke’s second hit single “Here with Me” was released in September 2022, and a music video was released in November 2022. “Here with Me” charted at No. 4 on the Hot Alternative Songs charts and No. 7 on Singaporean charts.

The usage of his songs on TikTok would help boost his career and the popularity of his songs. “Romantic Homicide” is RIAA certified Gold, ARIA certified platinum, and MC certified platinum, and “Here with Me” is ARIA certified gold and MC certified platinum.
