Börni , also called Börni Höhn , from 2014 Vava Voom , (born August 11 , 1986 in Zurich ; actually Bernadette Höhn ) is a Swiss singer . She took part in the third season of the talent show MusicStar in early 2007 on Swiss television , in which she was eliminated in the semifinals.

In 2006, at the age of 20, Börni Höhn took part in the talent show MusicStar on Swiss television and was eliminated in fourth place shortly before the finale, although she had been considered the favorite of the third season.

Despite her departure, she landed a record deal with Sony Music Entertainment , where she worked with producer Fred Herrmann on her debut album, Fighter , which was released on April 4, 2008. 

This contract forced her to leave the band Evergreen , where she was a singer. The second album Plan B was released in 2010. This was followed by the separation from Sony Music Entertainment.

Börni Höhn has lived in the USA since 2010, first in New York and then in Los Angeles . In August 2014 she released the pop song “Supersonic” together with US singer Sean Kingston . 

The agency Link Management and Production signed Höhn under the name Vava Voom . In addition to singing, Höhn works as a computer scientist.
